This claim is the most significant directors’ lawsuit in recent years. Our Firm represented the Liquidator of the Company, which later turned out to have been established to deceive the Israel Government’s Investment Center and a bank in Luxembourg. The amount of money fraudulently received totaled $130 million. The scam was carried out by a director, who founded the Company, through a straw man, and who, through a group of offshore companies in Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, and Switzerland, veiled the fraud and ownership of the Company and the building contractor company that built a compound in an unreasonable and exaggerated scale in Be’er Sheva’s Sarah Valley. Along with  the legal proceedings, Anton Filler Orders were issued against the front companies by the Be’er Sheva District Court, and said were enforced in foreign jurisdictions, as noted above. As a result of the legal proceedings, tens of millions of Shekels were returned to the Liquidation Fund. The legal proceedings underway abroad are continuing.
